Hey guys, I thought of wanting to post a blog talking about my final research paper. It is fortunate that I spent a whole weekend devoted to this paper and actually came up with a rough draft! My topic is an important one regarding to the next generation of human beings (Generation X, Y, Z, and beyond). Generation Y which is known as the Millennial Generation born from 1984-1995 typically do well in a team setting. But that's not my topic actually but I would go on and on talking about that, my topic for my research paper is:
"How will chemistry affect the next generation regarding through the effects of bio-fuels toward the environment and friendly methods using the theme “Go Green?" For this topic, I will discuss the chemistry aspects, safety and possible dangers, political and controversial issues, the economic benefits and problems, and last, I will discuss advancements that will influence the society in a positive way.
This is my ultimate question and my thesis statement. My argument is to say that renewable energy sources are the solutions that solve the next facing generations. Just thinking about since the 1930s when the model T Ford's came out it was a successful monopoly, from then on crude oil was discovered. Majority of this resides in the middle east. Now the world depends heavily on these sources resulting an interdependence. Without oil, this world would completely stop and all of humanity function would cease. Not speaking of all the negative factors of pollution to the environment, my topic focuses on many types of biofuels such as bioalcohols, green diesel, biodiesel, vegetable oil, bioethers, biogas, syngas, and solid biofuels.
I go through a paragraph discussing all the biofuels and their positive effects. After that I mention some of the negative effects of using biofuels. Political issues is another big factor I mention in another paragraph. Then I discuss a paragraph talking about some things we can do to help minimize pollution toward the environment. At last I talk about my reflection about how I chose this topic regarding with a discussion with the librarians and how I reached the point to a well developed idea on how Green Chemistry is a vital subject to talk about for a solution to the next generation.
