Accomplishment of a Team Effort

Hey guys back to my ordinary blog. Usual day: get up, get dressed, eat breakfast, drive to school, attend my linguistic Chinese class (which I find really easy by the way), and then get together with few of my english fellows working on our presentation.

What this post will talk about is our recent project called the Alternate Discourse Assignment, which consists of an argumentative subject talking about something to persuade. In this case, for our presentation, our group (consisting of Me, Eric, Mallory, and Jeremiah) presented a marketing sales pitch of what is to be the next considered top of the line cruise lines called University Cruise Lines (UCL). I believe we presented very well in front of the class. I am glad to hear that Billy Phillips said our presentation was clear, concise, and effective. I hope to receive positive feedback from him and a high grade. Our group (team) worked very hard on this project. The previous day we went to the library and practiced our presentation in a practice presentation room. We also worked on our brochure supplement which was time consuming but it paid off and it looks spectacular. On the day of our presentation, we thought of something more creative, we decided to put a little skit of the members doing the "UCL" letters with their body. What I really liked about this presentation was being able to speak in front of the class in an effective way presenting the information we wanted to convey. I believe that I have presented in a very effective manner to the class, with an exciting tone of course. Anyways this has been fun and I will let you guys know soon about the results.

Until next time!
